Parole is the release of a prisoner to supervision in the community after they’ve completed a portion of their sentence. This streamlined resource provides ways to search for a released inmate’s probation records, any violations they committed, and how to contact their supervising officer in Arkansas.

Arkansas law includes the Victim Rights Law: Act 1262 of 1997 to provide open public records, updates, information and notifications about offenders to victims of a crime in Arkansas.

The Arkansas Department of Public Safety Crime Information Center maintains records about offenders in the state, including those on probation or parole.1 Arkansas was the first state in the nation to develop an automated system for updating such records.

The center can be contacted by mail at:

Arkansas Department of Public Safety
Crime Information Center

The probation information about these offenders is offered free of charge using the Arkansas Victim Information & Notification Everyday (VINE) criminal case information search tool.

VINE is free and safe for victims and the public to search for criminal case information, including probation records.

The VINE search page for Arkansas provides three methods to search for offenders:

  • Registered user’s saved registrations
  • An option for the system to guide them

Once the search is completed and the results page appears, users can choose the offender’s information by clicking on the record details. Details of the offender’s case are shown on the next page. However, viewers need a registered account to log in and see the individual’s date of birth and ID number.

The Arkansas Department of Corrections also offers a free Inmate Search Tool, although it’s limited to current inmates.2 The results include probation information, when available, and a downloadable PDF of all inmates.

The search form allows a probation search in Arkansas with very little information. Only one field is required, but it will return a broad list of offenders.
